Formed in 1989, ABC Communications is the largest northern B.C. based provider of integrated telecommunication's products and services. With annual sales of over 4 million, ABC provides dial-up, ADSL and wireless Internet, web and domain name services, data networks and cabling, commercial phone systems and retail technology products.

ABC Milestones

  • 2006, ABC purchases the web development division of Consilium Solutions to form ABC NewMedia
  • 2005, ABC expands into Kelowna
  • 2005, ABC grows to a staff of over 50
  • 2004, ABC is awarded the 3.5 ghz Wireless Spectrum Licences through most of rural B.C.
  • 2004, ABC purchases Perfekt Programming ISP, Mackenzie
  • 2002, ABC purchases Valley Internet Providers, Penticton
  • 2001, ABC attaines sales of over 4 million
  • 1999, ABC is awarded Wireless Spectrum Licences by Industry Canada for the 38 and 3.5 GHz bands
  • 1999, ABC opens our second Telus Mobility Dealership in Pine Centre Mall, Prince George
  • 1998, ABC becomes an Authorized Toshiba Dealer
  • 1996, ABC purchases Prince George Online with 3000 dial-up customers & the NetBistro web portal
  • 1996, ABC attains sales of over 2 million and a staff of 18
  • 1994, ABC brings the first dial-up Internet to Quesnel
  • 1989, ABC begins as an installer of commercial office phone systems & network cabling systems
