How do I sign up for ABC Cable Link?
You can sign-up online through our website. Simply fill out the form and click on sign-up and one of our sales agent will contact you as soon as possible to finalize your order. You can direct sign-up here
How long will it take for my new service to start working?
It typically takes 5-7 business days for a new cable install.
Will anyone be coming to my house to install something? Will I have to be home?
If you had Shaw cable in the past for six months, we won’t need to come to install and can do an “Active Transfer” which means you just have to plug in the modem and the service should be up and working. If not a Shaw technician may be required to do some installation work. This will generally be included at no extra charge.
What is a cable modem?
Cable modem is the hardware responsible for giving you access to your cable internet. It uses coaxial lines for connectivity at customer premises.
Do I need to buy one?
You can buy from ABC communications at flat rate of below prices.

Can I use my existing modem? If yes, what modem types do you support?
You can use your existing modem provided it fits one of the below models and their support maximum speeds.

Can I rent the modem? Is it rent to own.
You can rent the modem for charge of $10 for wireless and $5 for wired modems. The modems remain ABC property and must be returned if you cancel service or the full modem price will be added to your final bill.
Does your package support Netflix? If yes, what are the recommended speeds for streaming?
Yes our packages are Netflix compatible. We recommend at least the Cable Link 25 package for optimum viewing. If you would like to watch on multiple devices at the same time we recommend the Cable Link 75 or 150.
What will happen after the contract ends?
After completing your contract term you will be moved to month to month term and can cancel at any time without penalty. Your monthly price may be subject to change.
Can I renew my contract?
Absolutely you can enter into a new contract term to take advantage of any current rates offered.
Can I switch from month to month to a contract?
Yes you can switch from month to month to a contract based package at any time.
What will happen if I sign-up or upgrade in the middle of month.
We bill all of our services on the first of the month. Any changes made during the month will result in pro-rated billing to reflect the number of days at the new package.
If there any data limit. Do you charge for data overages?
There is no cap on data usage on our Cable internet plans so you can you as much as you want without any extra charge to pay for data overage.
Do I have to return the modem to ABC if I cancel my account.
If you are renting your modem you do need to return it. Otherwise the modem remains your property.
