7.       On this screen you are presented with a few options, the details in this step are for POP3 Connections; POP3 downloads a copy of the email to your computer and then deletes it from the server (only accessible on your computer after download from server). Details are as follows:

-          Server Address = mail.abccomm.com

-          Server Address Port = 995

-          Authenticate using = Clear Text

-          Logon user name = Email Address (i.e. someone@netbistro.com)

OUTGOING SERVER INFORMATION

-          Server Address = smtp.abccomm.com

8.       The details in this step are for IMAP email settings. You may skip this step if you set it up as a POP account. IMAP is a ‘mirror’ image of the information on the server, instead of copying it locally to your computer and that computer being the only one with access to it; it will leave the emails on the server so that multiple devices can access/delete/move the emails as needed.

INCOMING SERVER INFORMATION

-          Server Type = IMAP

-          Server Address = mail.abccomm.com

-          Server Address Port = 993

-          Tick mark in box labeled “Requires a secure connection (SSL)”
